Immanuel Christian Center finalized the refinance of our building.  Partnering with MidFirst Bank has allowed us to establish a win-win long term relationship with an organization that understands the challenges of non-profits and Churches.  The finance team was great to work with and we look forward to a long prosperous relationship with the MidFirst team

Immanuel Christian Center has completed a new Sermon outline page.  On the 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month we are studying the Hebrew Alephbet.  The Scriptural outline for the study is Psalms 119.  In addition there is a unique connection between the 22 letters of the Alephbet and the 66 books of the bible.  We refer to it as the Wheel of Revelation.  The page header provides a complete outline.  We pray this study will provide support and spiritual growth in your walk with the Lord.

Immanuel Christian Center signed closing documents on our new facility.  We have purchased our first building and are very excited to see just what the Lord is going to do in the coming months.

November 22, 2012

Immanuel Christian Center would like give special thanks to all of our sponsors for their support to our first Annual Thanksgiving Day Breakfast.  The event was planned to show support to the homeless and less fortunate within our community.  Our goal was not to just provide a meal, but to begin bridging the gap between the Church and those who have very real needs.  We had around 30 from the community come through our lines and a total of around 90 in attendance.  When it became apparent that the numbers were going to be significantly less than we planned for the ICC saints jumped into action and started convassing the streets and parks in the area and got things moving for us.

The members of our congregation continue to be the most diligent workers ever!  Their turnout and support is amazing!  The leadership of the Church is in complete awe in view of the member’s tireless labor and compassionate love for the community and one another.  We could not do these types of events without their faithful love and support, says Pastor Land!!!

Equally as important; we would not have been able to pull off such a worthy event without the support of our corporate sponsors.  We are very grateful for the support of McDonalds (AGK Restaurants) @ 23rd Avenue & Bethany & 19th Avenue & Northern as well as "The Place" (Mike & Ronda's) @ 5171 W. Bell Road, Glendale, AZ 85308.

We certainly cannot forget the other Ministries who made such wonderful contributions to our efforts.  The Church on the Street (Pastor Walt & Mrs. Louene) located @ 3210 N/W Grand Avenue, Phoenix AZ 85017 and Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church (Pastor Wade & Rachel Fleming) located @ 8116 W. Varney Road, Peoria, AZ 85345

From Pastor Land and the entire ICC Family,   THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Happy Thanksgiving & Many Blessings!!!

  June 7, 2009
The first service of Immanuel Christian Center was conducted this morning at 10:30 AM, for we know "with us is God".  This is the prophetic name reveled by the Prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 7: 14) for the coming Messiah (Christ Jesus our Lord!).  It is also depicted in the 8th Chapter of Isaiah (Isaiah 8: 8)

The day that we now live in is much like the days preceding the 1st advent of our Lord and the days of which the Prophet Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah chapter 8.  "The riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria" (Isaiah 8:4, 6 & 7).  "6 Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son; 7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:   The previous text revels the heart of the land and the following text revels the command for those who's heart's are after God and his Word.  13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.  16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. 17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. 18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

This passage declares the Lord to be for us a Sanctuary and commands us to bind up the testimony and to seal up the law among his disciples.  Please pray for us as we endeavor to hide deep in our hearts the wonderful word of God and to hold true to the tenets of the Christian Faith in all that we say and do.

We celebrated the home going of my dear Mother today.  I am blessed to have a Mother who lived a Godly life and desired nothing more than to see lives transformed by the wonderful power of Jesus Christ.  Bonnie Jane Land was born on November 13, 1936 and she went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2009, her body was laid to rest on June 1, 2009 in the company of her Husband, Luther Eugene Land, Sons, Eldon, Rock and Stephen , Daughters, Melitta and Lydia and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, nieces & many from her family in Christ.

I was given the honor to preach my Mothers home going which was preceded by many beautiful songs as well as two very special moments that stand out in my mind.  1st was My brothers (Rocky & Eldon) & I along with our nephew Henry Felkins gave tribute to my Mother with a musical "good bye world good bye" and 2nd was when we were joined by our sisters (Melitta & Lydia) and Mothers Children sang "Feelin Mighty Fine"!!!  Praise God Mother is feeling fine now, No More Pain and No More Suffering in her fragile little body.  We will cherish every moment that God gave us with Mother and we anxiously await our reuniting in the Presence of the LORD!

I Ministered my farewell message to the Congregation of Last Day Revival Center where I served as Associate Pastor for the last 14 years.  I would like all of the Last Day Revival Center Family to know that I appreciate all of those faithful saints who showed my family & I kindness and love for so many years.  It was an honor to have served you and to have had the opportunity to minister the Word of God to you.

My heart felt prayer is that you hold true to the pure Word of God without compromise.  Study for yourself Gods Holy Word so you will never be deceived, be faithful to God in all things pertaining to life and Godliness and you won't go wrong.

Love and Peace to you all in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Stephen Land
